The singer has been working on his craft having travelled on a musical study so as to better his sound.
Singer Djinee has released a statement confirming he is still in the music game after hearsays were passing around that he had quit.
He also affirms he will be putting out a new single in the coming weeks.
Nosa Donald Osayamwen popularly known by his stage name as Djinee has not quit music for an alternative career path. Djinee who is a musical prodigy with a background in classical and contemporary music prides himself in the art of creating magical and timeless music with a track record of hit singles such as ‘Ego’, ‘I no dey shame’, ‘Overkilling’ and ‘Lade’ to mention a few. He did take some time off releasing music to work on his craft while performing to his niche audience within and outside the country.
The Award winning musician says music is his first love and he believes that as individuals and as an artiste we are in a constant competition with ourselves to surpass records or milestones previously achieved. “It is our duty to ensure our present and future is better than our past,” he adds.
Djinee believes growth is a constant in life and he needed to challenge himself and further build his artistry. While being off the mainstream music scene Djinee has done a lot of traveling and musical study to further develop his sound.
The break from mainstream entertainment scene has left Djinee feeling rejuvenated and inspired. He has been working tirelessly in the studio on new mind blowing songs that even leaves him the artiste overwhelmed. He can't wait to share his new content with his ever loving and supportive fans.
He sincerely apologizes to the audience, his fans, radio OAPs, Blogs, TV Stations, Print Media, DJs and VJs for the silence on mainstream music scene. He appreciates their undeserved support and prayers and promises to put out a single in the next couple of weeks.
